Ask about the work, the room, the time of year. Most hosts reply within 24 hours.
Request to book
Pick your check-in and check-out dates and send a note about why you'd be a good fit.
Host has 7 days
Many arrange a quick call to sort out arrival and what to bring. Your card isn't charged yet.
Confirmed
The host accepts, the booking fee is taken, and you get the address, contact details and everything you need.

If you cancel before your host accepts, you're never charged. Once a booking is confirmed, cancel 7 or more days before your start date and we'll refund the booking fee in full; cancellations closer than that aren't refunded. See the full cancellation policy.
If a host cancels your booking, you'll receive a full refund of your booking fee — no matter how close to your start date. We'll also help you find an alternative stay if you'd like. Our support team is here to assist with any last-minute changes.
